Welcome to LIVE for Plants application page!

Applications due February 3, 2023. Selected applicants will reside on the Cornell campus (adjacent to BTI), and will receive intensive training in both bioinformatics and wet bench techniques.

Eligibility

To apply, you must be:

A United States citizen or permanent resident (based on federal guidelines from the NSF)
A sophomore or junior majoring in Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or Chemistry
Maintain an a GPA of 3.0 or greater
Available to reside and work in Ithaca during the designated program period

You must also be able to provide record of completed COVID19 vaccination by the start of the program.

Cornell University and BTI requires all employees, whether they work on campus or work fully remotely, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or to have obtained a university-approved medical or religious exemption. You can read more about this requirement here.
